| We had a wonderful time at VBS June 18-22. By Tuesday night, over 100 children/youth/adults had crossed the threshold either to attend, lead, cook, serve, clean, or assist somehow with VBS. Thanks to each of you who contributed in some way... thanks to those who planned and decorated and sewed and ran errands and climbed ladders in preparation for VBS. Thanks to our tribe leaders who led us so capably, shopkeepers who taught us new skills, our wise rabbi, our excellent drama team, our youth assistants who served in many roles, our dinner crew (yum!), those who stayed late to help clean up, those who arrived early to set up, our staff, our tribe members, and those who upheld VBS in prayer. A special thanks for hosting our celebration Friday night. ...and if I haven't mentioned your role yet... thanks to you too!! "It takes a church to host VBS." That was my new quote of the week. Each of you is genuinely appreciated. It was an excellent week. Let's do it again next year! |
